BACKYARD TRAIL RACE FUNDRAISER

What to Expect
The Backyard Trail Run powered by AG1 is a 6km partner race through the bloody tough hills of Currumbin Valley. the catch is that you and your partner must start and finish together. that's kind of the whole point right... the race is an analogy for life. when things get hard, we lean on the people beside us, and trust me, these hills will test you. every cent of your entry goes straight to Movember. friends, families and spectators are welcomed and encouraged to stick around for the raffle, food, drinks and vibes. so once you've crossed the line together, stick around and enjoy the day.

FAQs

Do I need a partner, and what does the partner format actually mean?
1
Yes, you'll need a partner locked in before you register. This is a two-person team event: you start together and finish together, running side by side the whole 6km. No splitting up, you cross the line as a pair. When the hills bite, the person next to you gets you through. That's the whole point.

How long and how hard is the course?
2
It's a 6km trail run with a mix of dirt, gravel, river crossings, and beautiful scenery. There's quite a lot of elevation in this race, so come prepared.

Where does my money go?
3
All proceeds from the event, entry fees, raffle, drinks, and food go towards Movember, a men's mental health organisation.

Can I come if I'm not running?
4
Yes, absolutely, and encouraged. The afternoon post-race will be made up of food, drinks, and music, and a chance for everyone to hang out. You'll also be able to enter the raffle on the ground there.

How do I register, and is there a limit on spots?
5
You can register here. There's a limit of 80 teams total, that's 160 runners, so it's first in, best dressed. If you miss a running spot, you can always come hang out for the afternoon. Please note there are no refunds available.
